Meet Our Care Managers
Jenell Welsh, MA, CMC
Jenell is a certified Geriatric Care Manager who provides personalized, professional assistance to families who are facing the complex issues of aging loved ones. As a care manager, she has brought expertise in assessment, crisis management and advocacy since 2007. She began her career working with older adults as a certified aquatics professional with Aquatics Exercise Association (AEA) helping seniors and those with physical disabilities such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and Arthritis thrive for over 15 years. She brings prior experience with resource referrals through employee assistance programs, private-duty home care, dementia screening and cognitive therapeutic assistance. Jenell strives to provide strategies to empower clients and their families to successfully navigate the elder care environment. Her passion is to assist seniors with a holistic approach to live with independence and integrity.
Jenell is a graduate of the University of Kansas business program and received her Master’s degree in Gerontology from Webster University. She is a certified member of the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA) and active in the Midwest Chapter and local senior resource teams. Jenell is involved in United Methodist ministries, including the Stephen’s Ministry program, Habitat for Humanity and the Mid-America Transplant Association.
She is a wife, mother and a lifelong resident of Kirkwood, Missouri.
